BizSpace is the UK’s largest regional flexible workspace provider, offering various workspaces such as offices, studios, workshops, light industrial spaces, and storage units to businesses of all sizes on flexible terms.
Operating since 2000 and now part of Sirius Real Estate, BizSpace provides simple, affordable, and adaptable spaces in convenient regional locations across the UK.
The team at BizSpace challenged me to help them achieve their ambitious growth goals. This involved moving away from their reliance on brokers and agents, and growing their inbound qualified leads, and revenue directly generated from their website.
In our 1st year of working together, I worked closely with the BizSpace team and a colleague (a content specialist) to develop a SEO and content strategy. This was of particular importance because they had a legacy website that we were taking through a redesign and rebuild.
As we moved into year two, I developed a complete, multi channel digital marketing strategy, which built upon our successful website migration, SEO and content strategy.
Now in year three of working together, we have evolved towards a growth marketing approach and strategy.
After we had an agreed strategy in place, we executed a plan with the below key tactics and deliverables:
My approach with the delivery of these tactics was to up skill the BizSpace team as much as possible, through regular in person sessions working together and weekly meetings.
It was critically important that we were able to measure the customer journey from initial engagement, to conversion, to qualified lead to deal (data that resided in Salesforce). We also had the added challenge of launching the new BizSpace website on the cusp of the UA to GA4 switchover (deep joy!). I therefore developed a measurement plan for BizSpace, which included a full UA to GA4 migration and all relevant tagging to help us measure our required KPIs. All tagging was implemented using Google Tag Manager, by myself, to reduce the reliance on Dev support.
Zapier, along with native integrations with Salesforce was used for the import of offline data into paid media channels. To measure our organic and local search visibility and traction, I introduced third party tooling such as Brightlocal and SEOMonitor.
I provided ad hoc training to the team throughout the tactical delivery of the various digital marketing channels, upskilling them so they could both work with me and interpret their data in the correct manner.
Outlined below are a selection of the top level results we achieved together over the last 3 years.
